Basic Health and Child Care

Our Goal is to develop and maintain a health information database for Africa that will facilitates the channeling of interventions. According to the International Federation of Health Records, “a well-designed and utilized health record can contribute significantly to the effectiveness and quality of healthcare”.

The organization stresses that it is important that every country to have health records that comply with national standards. In this light, Nascent Solutions is committed to applying rigorous research standards, methods and tools to conducts research that yields relevant data on critical health issues.

We also partners with local community-based organizations and NGOs to design and deliver basic health and child care programs to rural youth and women groups.

We train young trainers to champion the HIV/AIDS awareness programs in the areas. We produce job aids and other training materials and programs for community health initiatives. Our initial health project is a study of AIDS orphans in Bui Division of the North West province of Cameroon.
