Nascent Solutions Team Returns IMEC Visit
 
As a follow up of the assessment by an IMEC health specialist of the health situation in the Diocese of Kumbo, Dr. Beatrice Wamey, the president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nascent Solutions and Rev Fr. Daniel Ache Amuhngwa, an envoy of the Bishop of Kumbo visited the International Medical Equipment Collaborative (IMEC) in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
 
The visiting party was received by Mr. Tom Keefe the President of IMEC, Dr. Susan Crawford, the Program Coordinator for Africa who conducted the assessment visit to Cameroon in June 2006, and Mr. Edo, the IMEC accountant.
 
After showing the visitors round the enormous facility and the impressive collection of equipment in the IMEC warehouses, the team retired into a meeting that examined the modalities of their future collaboration and defined next steps, which included the finalization of the proposal first discussed in Cameroon in June during the visit to the Kumbo Diocese by the Nascent Solutions boss and Dr. Crawford, the Coordinator for IMEC projects in Africa.  

The visitors were offered good will gifts that included a pair of crutches for Mr. David Ngum the disabled president and CEO of the Kilum Strategic Development Group, one of the local partners of Nascent Solutions.
